About Terrence

TERRENCE SMITH

Terrence Smith, a music whiz and native of Cleveland Ohio, moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1983 to pursue his vision of starting a career in the music industry.

Upon arriving in the thriving city, he designed his own recording studio and quickly made a name for himself after having the opportunity to work with two national recording R&B groups, 112 and Another Bad Creation also known as ABC.

Terrence received his first award just ten years later while orchestrating show cases in one of Atlanta's popular clubs, Club Vegas.

A talented young man he was working with was a dancer in a group called UBoys; that same young man turned out to be one of Atlanta's greatest producers named Rico Wade who later opened his own production company called Organized Noise.

For over 30 years, Terrence has gained exceptional experience in the music and entertainment business. His experience and devotedness prompted him to receive a proclamation from the City of Atlanta for his charitable contributions and cheerful volunteer efforts to provide toys for kids and help the homeless.

Other specialties of Terrence's include road management and artist development/ management. He has worked with different national celebrities such as The S.O.S Band, The Original Lakeside, Michael Henderson, Howard Hewitt, Cherrelle, Silk (an R&B group), and many more.

Currently, Terrence manages Saxophonist Kimberley McKinney and is also the road manager for various artists such as Citi LIMITZ and Ivan Kelley; Ivan Kelly has been in a blockbuster movie called Joyful Noise starring Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah and Kiki Palmer.
